Welcome Inner healing

hello there,

i’m cyn magaña

I am Queer Chicana Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed to practice therapy in New York (#094375) and California (#120859).

I support high-achieving professionals, creatives, and wellness providers in breaking free from anxiety and perfectionism. With a somatic and holistic approach, I guide you through life’s transitions, helping you find balance and alignment.

This is your space to heal deeply, honor your journey, and step into your fullest self with intention and clarity.

Identity

Your identity is a powerful expression of who you are, shaped by your beliefs, experiences, and inner truth. When societal or cultural expectations challenge this, I’m here to guide your healing process and support the full embodiment of your authentic self. Together, we’ll reclaim your sense of wholeness and empower you to live aligned with your true identity.

Life Transitions

Your life’s journey is uniquely yours, and you are the expert of that story. As we work together, I offer clear reflections and insights on the patterns emerging, inviting you to explore the deeper emotions, thoughts, and narratives shaping your path. Through our trusted therapeutic alliance, we co-create a space for transformative healing and self-discovery.

Inner Healing

My focus is to deeply understand your inner world—your thoughts, feelings, and the sensations rooted in your nervous system. Together, we’ll gently unblend the parts of yourself that hold stuck emotions, allowing space for healing to emerge. With compassion and nonjudgment, we’ll honor each part of you, creating room for authentic transformation.

Next Chapter

Together, we’ll navigate the path toward fully embracing your inner healing. By working through shame, rejection, perfectionism, and self-abandonment, we’ll create space for deeper transformation. My goal is for you to embody the meaningful change you’ve created, stepping powerfully into the next chapter of your life.

who I help

I aim to co-create affirming spaces for Queer & Trans, Black Indigenous People of Color and First Generation College Students who may have not had access to a mental health professional of color.

  • I have a particular specialization working with high achieving professionals of color who experience anxiety and perfectionism anticipating major life transitions as a result of intercultural and intergenerational life experiences.

  • I am highly attuned to supporting adult children of dysfunctional families who identify as intuitive, creative and self critical.

  • I have a deep commitment and qualitative evidence based practice working alongside people who have been impacted by gender based violence.

  • Lastly, as a therapist, I enjoy providing community care to other therapists, therapists- in- training and healers who are actively invested in decolonizing healing practices.
